The Global Strategic Account Specialist (d/f/m) - Biotech Services​ is responsible for driving collaboration, partnership and growth with Cytiva’s Global Strategic Accounts (GSA). You will help to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery with a multinational pharmaceutical customer base.

This position reports to the Senior Director Clinical Commercial Operations.  The role is part of the Nanomedicine Services and Solutions team and will be fully remote in UK with international responsibility.

What you will do:

  • Analyze and articulate GSA customer and market needs from translational discovery, PD to commercial manufacturing

  • Selling contract manufacturing services with long sales cycles

  • Engage in complex negotiations involving intellectual property assets, including strategic licensing deals leveraging our library of 150 ionizable lipids

  • Problem solves in a commercial environment while working with these mature customers across all levels from scientists, sourcing leads to VP- and C-suite level

  • Consult and gain credibility with key customer stakeholders on the appropriate solutions to propose when moving between research through clinical to commercialized therapeutic applications

Who you are:

  • BSc. in a Life Sciences discipline is required. A PhD. and strong nanoparticle formulation or cell/molecular biology background is an asset

  • Significant  years of experience in a commercial role in the biotechnology industry, preferably contract manufacturing

  • Superior interpersonal, proven contract negotiations and Key Account management skills

  • Proven track record in providing elevator pitches and deal summaries to internal plus external stakeholders, while successfully negotiating and executing complex deals concerning intellectual property assets

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel – up to 50%, overnight internationally

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Negotiating lipid licensing deals and terms

  • Intellectual Property and competitive landscape around lipids
