By joining our programme, you'll become part of a dynamic, fast-paced, and innovative organisation, working alongside like-minded peers and engaging directly with our senior leadership team. Our finance team is over 200 strong, and during your time with us, you’ll collaborate with various finance functions and business units. You’ll gain hands-on experience on meaningful projects where you’ll be empowered to think independently and bring fresh ideas to the table.

Your growth and development will be a top priority. We offer full support toward a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA or ACCA), alongside valuable on-the-job training and dedicated mentorship—following successful completion of a 6-month probation period. All training and exam costs will be covered by the business, we’ll give you the time, support and encouragement to succeed with dedicated study leave and mentors who have already completed the same exams.

Our Finance Development Programme is designed not only to get you your accountancy qualification but to help you grow into a well-rounded professional and a future business leader. We will support you through your qualification and professional development with annual salary reviews and a market leading salary when you qualify.

We'd be excited to welcome you to one of our five Crewe offices. The role is full-time, with working hours of Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

 

 

Job Description

Your responsibilities day to day will be dependent on placement and will evolve across the 3-year development programme.

The programme offers successful candidates the chance to spend time in different industries (including Fuel, Telematics, Telecoms, Insurance, Vehicle Solutions, EV and Energy) within our business and different functions across finance such as:

  • Accounting & Financial Control – responsible for the financial reporting and control framework, the production of management accounts, and budgetary control
  • Financial Operations – responsible for transaction data management, customer billing and direct debit processing
  • Commercial – reporting and analysis to support, challenge and help drive business performance
  • Group – responsible for Group Reporting, Treasury & Tax 

Over the three years you will rotate through at least two placements offering a panoramic view of how the Finance function works and supports the rest of the Group. You will have the opportunity to work on projects with strategic impact and drive real change.

By the end of the scheme, you’ll be:

  • Finance-fluent - with the ability to create accurate, timely, decision-ready information.
  • Commercially aware- understanding how the business generates value
  • Insight driven- you’ll have the ability to analyse data and spot trends others may not
  • Influential- able to build relationships and use your knowledge to make decisions that drive real change.

  • A respected accountancy qualification
  • A powerful mix of technical knowledge, commercial awareness and strategic thinking
  • A solid skillset to take you forward in your finance career

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree (Minimum 2:1 or above) in any related subject. Data Analytics, Statistics, Maths, Economics are desirable, however, we will consider all subjects
  • Strong academic background
  • Ambition to build a career in Finance
