LOCATION(S): London, Bristol, Chester, Halifax, Leeds or Edinburgh

HOURS: Full time

Salary: £104,992 - £146,650

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days per week) in one of our office hubs mentioned above

About this opportunity

We’re searching for a marketing leader who can help our businesses and brands grow faster by driving awareness and consideration across our portfolio. Your job will be to create impactful marketing campaigns through ATL advertising, stunts, social, influencer, and word of mouth.

You’ll be a keen strategist who can manage complex marketing campaigns, but you’ll also be an innovator who can think bigger and longer-term. You’ll see customers for what they are: real people with real needs navigating the ups and downs of life, and you’ll obsess about how our campaigns can usefully help along the way.

We’re running a matrix structure where Full Funnel Marketing Teams work with specialist Accelerators, of which this role leads one of, to deliver ground breaking marketing plans. So we need someone who is an arch collaborator first and foremost. If you are driven by team size, personal power and glory, then we’re not for you.

What you’ll need

Reporting to one of our Consumer Marketing Directors, your key focus will be to:

  • Drive marketing campaigns including ATL, stunts, activations, social, and influencer activities to significantly drive consideration through to awareness metrics that deliver commercial impact through best-in-class creative execution.

  • Define moments that matter for customers in partnership with our Full Funnel Marketing teams and deploy campaigns to move customer intent through to awareness metrics.

  • Lead the Organic Social strategy and implementation for all Lloyds Banking Group consumer brands, keeping the bar high on creative and developing content strategies to foster community engagement, grow followers, and drive brand connection.

  • Be responsible for the overall agency relationship with Adam & Eve and Union.

  • Work in partnership with the Full Funnel Marketing teams, deploying teams to agile pods under their leadership to design best in class customer comms, and lead the betterment of these campaigns within your team once landed.

  • Lead the pitch and review process for any new agencies that support the execution and strategy of consumer marketing creative, campaigns and social activations.

  • Define critical metrics, work in partnership with the Insights team to understand campaign and engagement data to ensure we’re optimising and improving campaign output.

  • Act as a bar raiser across the Consumer Marketing team to ensure high-quality creative output from brief to ideation to production across all marketing channels.

  • Inspire and nurture the team to help create a culture of excellence and ensure we have the right people on the right problems and the team are fulfilled in their work.

  • Innovate across our channel mix to ensure our go-to-market strategy for our campaigns is best in class.

  • Deep Multi-Channel Expertise: Has demonstrated multi-channel experience across influencer, ATL, social, and agile campaign creation. Creating best-in-class campaigns that set the standard in the industry and deliver clear commercial outcomes.

  • Campaign Management: Deep and proven experience delivering famous creative that builds brands and delivers commercial returns. Proven experience delivering multi-channel awareness and consideration campaigns across broadcast and earned media. Deep experience optimising media spends to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Creative Delivery: Proven capability in delivering innovative, stand out and effective creative in partnership with in-house studios and world-class agencies, optimised to deliver impact across the funnel.

  • Innovation: Evidenced clear potential in making workflows as efficient as possible using automation and artificial intelligence while at the same time building the craft skills and creativity of the team so that we maximise the value of people and technology working together. Ensures we’re leading the market on best-in-class campaign delivery and sets a higher standard on what excellent campaign creative looks like.

  • Management: You’ll have proven experience managing budgets, workflows and risks associated with delivering marketing. You’ll happily geek out over workflow tools such as JIRA, so we can focus our efforts to only the key priorities.
