The Finance Change Team is responsible for managing and delivering the finance change initiatives (regulatory or as defined by the finance leadership team) related to finance processes, workflow, reports, system integrations and supporting transitions of future acquisitions or demergers.
A role you will love
The Head of Change Adoption is responsible for shaping and leading the strategic approach to process and systems adoption across Finance. In this role you will design and deliver a fit‑for‑purpose methodology and establish a centralized repository of change artefacts, ensuring consistent application and easy access for all Finance teams globally.
The role also owns all change adoption activities arising from the Finance strategic change portfolio, partnering with stakeholders at all levels of the Finance organisation, up to and including the Finance Leadership Team. They will champion stakeholder engagement, create structured adoption and enablement programs, and ensure effective knowledge transfer to support the successful delivery of Finance transformation objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape, implement, and provide ongoing oversight of the strategic approach to process and systems adoption across all Finance functions.
- Develop and govern the methodology, standards, documentation templates, storage platforms, document quality controls, reporting, and related governance mechanisms.
- Educate users and drive adherence to established methodologies, governance frameworks, and quality standards.
- Establish and maintain a network of in‑team super users responsible for creating and maintaining adoption documentation within their respective Finance areas.
- Partner with project teams to identify new process adoption requirements, designing and delivering fit‑for‑purpose adoption solutions.
- Design and execute a communication strategy aligned with the overall Finance change portfolio.
- Work with project teams to assess communication needs and create and implement effective, fit‑for‑purpose communication solutions.
- Collaborate with the Internal Communications team to support larger, enterprise‑wide initiatives.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities, ensuring solutions remain cost‑effective.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all mandatory and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in Finance process adoption and change delivery, with the ability to turn complex initiatives into clear, practical outcomes. They will combine deep knowledge of Finance systems and processes with the capability to deliver high‑quality communications, training, and documentation, while operating effectively in fast‑changing environments and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Other key skills required for the role include:
- Strong expertise in process mapping, documentation, and the delivery of high‑quality communications across multiple formats and channels.
- Proven experience across the full project management lifecycle, including the use of project management tools, methodologies, and governance frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Finance processes, operations, systems, and how they support broader business objectives.
- Working knowledge of change management techniques and their application in complex transformation environments.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver training, knowledge sharing, and enablement activities for diverse audiences.
- Proven leadership capability, including influencing, motivating, and leading teams or networks indirectly to achieve outcomes.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with experience operating effectively in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments and addressing conceptual challenges.
- Track record of delivering process documentation, systems training, and communications at scale, meeting time, cost, and quality expectations.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate, influence, and negotiate effectively at senior leadership level.
- Ability to represent subject matter expertise internally and externally, contributing credible insight and guidance across initiatives.
