The Opportunity

As Head of Communications & Government Relations for the UK and Ireland, you’ll lead strategic initiatives that elevate our brand, influence policy, and engage stakeholders at every level. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact at the intersection of business, policy, and society.
You’ll report to the regional Head of Communications & Government Relations Europe and work closely with the UK & Ireland Managing Director. In this role, you’ll lead a talented communications team and build strong connections with government bodies and industry stakeholders.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and oversee all communications and government relations activities across the UK and Ireland.
- Develop and execute integrated strategies to strengthen brand positioning and market visibility.
- Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, regulators, and key stakeholders.
- Drive internal and external communications that inspire engagement and support business growth.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment with international strategies and priorities.
- Inspire and mentor a high-performing team of communications professionals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on strategic communications and public affairs.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in communications and public/government affairs, ideally in a multinational environment.
- Proven expertise across media relations, internal communications, digital platforms, and crisis management.
- Strong strategic planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Deep understanding of communication tools and best practices, tailored for diverse audiences.
- International experience and familiarity with UK and Ireland markets; energy or technology sector experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
