Role Description

At Dropbox, we’re transforming procurement — harnessing innovation, automation, and collaboration to help employees move faster and focus on what matters most We’re reimagining how we buy & contract, across the company, and we’re looking for a Head of Procurement Operations to lead that transformation. If you’re energized by the idea of building a best-in-class, tech-enabled purchasing experience — one that gets employees in and out of Procurement as quickly and intelligently as possible — this is your opportunity to make it happen.

This isn’t your typical procurement role. You’ll own global Indirect Procurement operations, but your real impact will come from simplifying complexity, automating the manual, and partnering cross-functionally to redefine how we purchase at scale. You’ll design and deliver a modern procurement framework that balances compliance, control, and efficiency — all while making Procurement a seamless, trusted partner to the business.

We’re looking for a strategic operator and change agent — someone who can zoom out to reimagine the end-to-end process, then dive deep to make it real. You’ll work closely with Finance, Legal, Risk & Compliance and IT to drive innovation, eliminate friction, and ensure Procurement is an accelerator for growth.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Dropbox’s Global Indirect Procurement Team, building a best-in-class employee purchasing experience that balances speed, simplicity & compliance.
  • Redefine how teams engage with Procurement — simplifying policy, automating workflows, and reducing cycle times through technology, AI, and smart design.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders to develop scalable, efficient, and compliant procurement processes that enable speed and transparency.
  • Lead a global team of procurement professionals, empowering them to deliver operational excellence while fostering innovation and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Own and evolve Procurement’s technology stack, ensuring systems, automation, and data insights continually improve the end-to-end process.
  • Own core operational metrics, driving continuous improvement and accountability across the Procurement lifecycle.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Finance Operations, with a focus on Indirect Procurement (e.g., SaaS, Services, Marketing, T&E, or G&A spend).
  • Minimum 5+ years of people management experience, with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proven track record leading global procurement operations — designing and scaling best-in-class processes, systems, and controls.
  • Deep knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle, including requisitioning, approvals, purchase orders, supplier onboarding, and invoice workflows.
  • Strong understanding of ERP and procurement systems and experience leveraging automation and AI tools to drive efficiency and insight.
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills — able to influence at all levels, build alignment, and drive adoption of new processes across Finance, Legal, and business teams.
  • Highly analytical with a data-driven mindset; comfortable defining and managing KPIs, dashboards, and process performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and change management skills — you can simplify complexity, build trust, and inspire teams through transformation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Administration, or Finance
  • Experience in a public company environment with exposure to SOX compliance
  • Proficient in procurement technology
