If this sounds like you then this could your ideal role! We are currently recruiting for an HR Advisor to support our schools across the Barnet area, delivering HR support services to the schools both remotely and on site this role is varied and engaging.
The role covers all aspects of HR support from day-to-day queries to working with the school to handle grievances and disciplinaries, you will develop close relationships with your client base and be their subject matter expert on HR queries. In return you will be working for a company that values individuality, actively drives staff development and wants all of their people to succeed, you will work alongside a friendly and supportive team to ensure that you have everything you need to excel in this role. We are looking for someone with hands on HR experience and who is comfortable working with the client to deliver performance development reviews, disciplinaries and where necessary tribunals.
As this role is covering schools in the Barnet area we are looking for someone that lives within 50 miles of Barnet and has access to their own transport, all travel is expensed and when you aren’t onsite with the client you will be home based.

What you’ll be doing:

To deliver the full range of professional human resources services to clients, producing work of the highest possible standard, while complying with employment legislation and statutory regulations, policies and procedures, and in accordance with client contracts

To provide an accurate and timely remote HR service, responding to telephone and email enquiries and supporting HR cases, ensuring accurate and timely recording of information

To ensure a customer centric approach in the provision of services to support client retention
-
To work closely with an allocated client groups to build relationships, ascertain their business requirements and work with them to achieve.

To ensure client retention through effective relationship management and also identify opportunities to develop and grow the business.

To be an effective team player who contributes to the overall success of the HR function, supporting colleagues and teams when required.
What we’re looking for:

Demonstrable experience of working ion a hands on capacity in HR matters
-
A background of providing HR support in a unionised environment
-
Ideally evidence of Continuing Professional Development in HR
-
Experience of providing quality advice and guidance on high-risk HR casework

The ability to manage a varied workload
-
An up-to-date knowledge, understanding and practical application of employment legislation and issues including diversity in employment

A proven track record in handling difficult and sensitive redundancy, discipline, capability and grievance casework
