Job Description:

One Year Fixed Term Contract

The HR Advisor UK&I reports to the Head of HR for Europe and Brazil, is fully remote although a short distance to Hertfordshire, Essex and Bedfordshire would be preferable for team collaboration activities. This generalist position combines proactive project work with reactive HR operations, crucial for enhancing employee experience and driving organisational success. Responsibilities span the entire employee lifecycle, including health management, talent development, diversity & inclusion, employee engagement, and the maintenance of HR information.

The role will work alongside a UK&I HR Advisor and a UK&I HR Administrator (Compliance and Automation Governance), working as part of the wider European and Brazil HR organisation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Health & Wellbeing:

  • Manage Occupational Health referrals and health case management
  • Maintain a central tracker for reporting and analysis
  • Oversee the Mental Health First Aider program or other health based initiatives, as determined by the Head of HR Europe & Brazil

Talent Management:

  • Facilitate learning tools and content adoption
  • Implement learning programmes, such as Remote Management & Enablement or other learning schemes are developed by the leadership team/s
  • Support regional goals, development plans, and career initiatives.
  • Enhance recognition events and review talent schemes.
  • Manage local Reward and Recognition scheme.

Culture, Diversity & Inclusion:

  • Support efforts to embed Employee Networks and support Gender Pay Gap reporting as necessary
  • Deploy Diversity & Inclusion education or other related initiatives

Employee Engagement:

  • Assist with the Annual Employee Engagement Survey and action planning

Restructuring Programs:

  • Manage and track restructuring activities

Employee Relations:

  • Collaborate with employment law partners on employee relations matters
  • Maintain records and support performance improvement standards

Policies and Procedures:

  • Maintain and update the HR policy and procedure intranet page or other related resource platforms

Skills and Experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience of working at a HR Advisory level, looking to grow into next role

Embraces technology, to enable greater efficiencies within the role

As the role is fully remote, with the need to meet occasionally, the individual must be able to work collaboratively in a remote team environment and can work independently, with minimal supervision

This role is a one year fixed term contract.
