The HR Generalist is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office and manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures, and programs. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, Human Resources Information System (HRIS), employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment.

What will you do:

  • Provide a generalist HR support service mainly on HR Administration, Recruitment & Induction, Learning & Development in UK and Ireland
  • Champion and support best practice and delivery in recruitment, vetting, performance management, reward and recognition, personal development, resource planning and change management
  • Appropriately manage day-to-day HR administration ensuring service excellence and full legal compliance on Employee matters, e.g. employment certificates, social, pension and health fund reports, official statistics and other official documentation.
  • Participate in or lead HR projects as required
  • Provide support for employees who require advice on employment rights, changes to terms and conditions.
  • Continuously seek for opportunities to develop, train and educate HR processes, policies and procedures in order to ensure the consistency, efficiency and quality of Employee experiences.
  • Ongoing support and feedback with people managers on employee relations issues. Coaching of people managers

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Substantial and progressive experience in HR required with demonstrated required functional knowledge & expertise

  • Experience working in a regional shared services organization a plus

  • Fluency in English

  • Demonstrated experience of, and focus on, proactively managing customer relationships

  • Must possess demonstrated understanding of continuous performance measurement

  • A track record of identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement - keeping it simple

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build strong partnerships with key stakeholders in a complex, multi-supplier and matrixed environment

  • Curious; proactively ask questions about wider context in order to understand where to provide most business value; taking our customers to where they ought to be, not where they want to be

  • Exceptional conflict resolution skills

  • Comfortable with changes, the skill to easily shift priorities to meet business needs

  • Strong analysis and problem solving skills, able to carry out root cause analysis.
