Role Purpose:

Lonza is seeking an HR Adviser who will demonstrate independence, discretion, and initiative in delivering accurate information and advice on policies, procedures, and operational issues. Collaborating with colleagues, customers, partners, and team members, you will play a pivotal role in providing a flawless HR experience for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main contact for any service-related questions from hiring managers, employees, and other HR team members. Handle HR requests from start to finish, ensuring a top-notch user experience.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, aiming to quickly resolve queries and issues, always focusing and committing to exceed expectations.
  • Use multiple HR and Payroll systems to support the resolution of customer queries.
  • Share customer feedback and suggest new HR technology solutions to improve day-to-day operations.
  • Audit the quality of transactional work produced by the Hubs and key HR Services metrics.
  • Contribute to local projects with an impact on Human Resources.
  • Demonstrate awareness of the roles of other HR roles and teams within Lonza.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
  • Promote the use of the case tool within Human Resources, acting as the subject matter expert for other HR teams on the case tool.
  • Work within SLAs, always focusing on delivering an excellent customer journey.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related areas.
  • 2-5 years of proven experience.
  • Proficient in English and Spanish/French/German/Dutch.
  • Good knowledge and experience working with Workday/ServiceNow is a significant advantage.
  • Experienced and efficient handling of standard IT applications, preferably MS Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple, competing priorities.
  • Approach to process improvement.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer relations, building partnerships, and collaborating with all levels within an organization.
