RESPONSIBILITIES
- Independently determines project scope, performs product evaluation, drafts test plan and define samples requirements by analyzing client request and standard's requirements.
- Autonomously determines project's effort and time scheduling.
- Communicates with clients to share scheduling progresses, explain UL procedures and requirements, discuss technical issues,
- Interacts with laboratory activities by preparing testing documentation and instructions to lab technicians.
- Provides technical assistance to laboratory and/or field staff.
- Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.
- Proposes development of new and/or revised UL requirements.
- Projects may include travel to conduct or witness tests at client sites.
- May interact with Global technical leaders for specific product categories or requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University Degree in Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electronical Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC-R products from your university studies.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and electrotechnical principles from your university studies.
- Ability to successfully partner with Engineering and other Laboratory Personnel to complete projects in a timely manner with high quality.
- Effective communication skills and ability to interact with international customers and colleagues.
- Fluency in Italian and English - we are a European team, working with customers all over Europe and interacting with colleagues globally.
- Availability to travel within Europe to visit our customers units (30% of your time).
