RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Independently determines project scope, performs product evaluation, drafts test plan and define samples requirements by analyzing client request and standard's requirements.
  • Autonomously determines project's effort and time scheduling.
  • Communicates with clients to share scheduling progresses, explain UL procedures and requirements, discuss technical issues,
  • Interacts with laboratory activities by preparing testing documentation and instructions to lab technicians.
  • Provides technical assistance to laboratory and/or field staff.
  • Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.
  • Proposes development of new and/or revised UL requirements.
  • Projects may include travel to conduct or witness tests at client sites.
  • May interact with Global technical leaders for specific product categories or requirements.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • University Degree in Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electronical Engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC-R products from your university studies.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and electrotechnical principles from your university studies.
  • Ability to successfully partner with Engineering and other Laboratory Personnel to complete projects in a timely manner with high quality.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to interact with international customers and colleagues.
  • Fluency in Italian and English - we are a European team, working with customers all over Europe and interacting with colleagues globally.
  • Availability to travel within Europe to visit our customers units (30% of your time).
