We are seeking a highly motivated and customer centric Inside Sales Executive in Carugate-Italy to join our Medical EMEA Sales team. The Inside Sales Executive will be customer-facing and leading sales of safety and regulatory medical services in assigned territory, which requires basic knowledge of medical regulations, collaboration with internal experts, and a sense of urgency to respond to customer inquiries as well as promoting UL Solutions services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serves as primary point of contact for existing accounts and new clients; responds quickly to client inquiries.
  • Educates clients on medical device safety and regulatory requirements and takes ownership throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact through project scoping and contract execution; brings in additional technical resources (e.g., subject matter experts) when needed.
  • Responsible for understanding specific customer needs, articulating UL Solutions value proposition in client presentations and proposals and managing client interactions to close sales.
  • Builds trust and engages with customers to identify their specific needs and pain points (e.g., understanding the basic safety & regulatory requirements surrounding the customers product and the potential pathway to market).
  • Maintains up to date knowledge on the medical services offered by UL Solutions.
  • Meets or exceeds quarterly and annual sales quotas; works closely with technical experts to articulate UL Solutions value proposition and address customer needs.
  • Advises business leadership on evolving customer needs, pain points, and industry trends to help inform future offerings.
  • Works closely with Account Executives to ensure seamless collaboration with customers throughout the sales cycle.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's and/or graduate degree, in business, biomedical engineering, life science or related field.
  • English proficiency must be at least C1 level.
  • 3+ years of consultative sales experience with proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Medical device and/or life science industry experience preferrable.
  • Business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and CRM software.

Total Rewards: We understand that rewards are an important consideration as you plan the next step in your career. The salary range for this position in Italy is €28.800 to €38.400, and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, and experience (Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA): Commerce Sector - Job Classification Level: Level 3). This position is eligible for additional sales incentive with a target payout of 55% of base salary. You'll also enjoy annual paid leave, access to our ULS University to support continuous learning and career growth, two volunteering days each year to participate in community activities, and flexible working arrangements designed to help you balance work and life.
