With nearly 3,000 experts across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas, we partner with iconic businesses like Tesco, Coca-Cola, Meijer, Procter & Gamble and Metro to turn data into growth, innovation and measurable value for their customers.
Tesco Media
Tesco Media is the ultimate media partner to brands. Built on unrivalled customer insight, it’s a media owner with soul, scale, and storytelling power. Tesco Media helps brands and agencies connect meaningfully with customers, drive creative effectiveness, and grow at the point of purchase.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Strategic Projects & Analytics Lead to deliver high-priority strategic and analytical work that helps Tesco Media make better decisions, accelerate growth and evolve its operating model.
Working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional partners, you’ll turn complex business questions into clear insights, practical recommendations and executable plans. You’ll manage initiatives from early discovery through to implementation, helping the business prioritise opportunities according to strategic fit, value, feasibility and risk.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll combine structured problem-solving, commercial analysis and programme leadership to move important opportunities from ideas to measurable outcomes.
  • Lead strategic projects from problem definition and scoping through analysis, recommendation, mobilisation and handover.
  • Shape a sequenced portfolio of initiatives with clear objectives, ownership, milestones, dependencies and decision points.
  • Develop business cases and options, balancing commercial value with customer and colleague impact, effort, feasibility and risk.
  • Turn evidence into decisions through market and problem sizing, financial analysis, scenario modelling, trend analysis and performance diagnostics.
  • Establish measures of success, including KPIs, value cases and benefits-realisation frameworks that track outcomes and adoption.
You’ll also facilitate cross-functional working sessions, help stakeholders resolve ambiguity and maintain oversight of delivery risks and dependencies. As an in-house strategic adviser, you’ll create concise, leadership-ready materials and contribute to strategic planning, competitive intelligence and the translation of long-term priorities into measurable plans.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be a commercially minded strategic thinker who can create structure from ambiguity, work confidently with imperfect information and maintain momentum across multiple priorities.
  • Experience delivering strategy, transformation, analytics or consulting projects, from initial diagnosis through to recommendations and implementation.
  • Strong commercial and analytical judgement, including business cases, financial analysis, market sizing or scenario modelling.
  • Confident programme leadership, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders, dependencies and delivery risks.
  • Clear and influential communication, turning complex quantitative and qualitative evidence into succinct recommendations for senior audiences.
  • Effective stakeholder management, building trusted relationships and aligning colleagues across varied functions and levels of seniority.
Experience in retail media, advertising, retail, technology or consulting would be valuable. Familiarity with operating-model design, change management, data governance, responsible AI, automation or digital transformation would also be useful.
You’ll Thrive If You…
  • Enjoy solving complex, loosely defined business problems.
  • Can move comfortably between detailed analysis and the wider strategic picture.
  • Bring together different perspectives and create commitment to action.
  • Look for reusable approaches that help successful ideas scale across a business.
