JOB TITLE: Investments Insights Manager

LOCATION(S): Bristol Harbourside

SALARY: £65,385 - £72,650

HOURS: Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in our Bristol office

Do you want to be part of a team that helps shape how the Group delivers its Strategy through the £3bn per year Investment budget?

We have a unique opportunity to join our Investment Management team. As a team, we manage a portfolio covering all of the Platforms, hundreds of different Outcomes and a total of c.£3 billion of spend a year. In addition, the team are directly involved in some of the most strategic programmes in the Group, helping craft the strategic direction of investment.

You can expect to join an open, hard-working, and collaborative team right in the centre of key decisions being made by the Group. Working with us, you can benefit from:

  • Understanding how Group investment decisions are made.
  • Learning about our investment portfolio (multi-billion £ annual investment).
  • Building knowledge of Transformation teams and methodology
  • Informing GEC, Board and external communication on LBG’s strategic progress, as articulated through LBG’s Board Metrics.
     

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable using data and insight to help inform a wide range of colleagues on how LBG is maximising the value from its investment portfolio and is progressing against its Strategic commitments. We’ll also be asking you to use that data to identify delivery and value-creation risks, and engage with platforms and Business Units constructively to address them.

Day to day you’ll be;

  • Responsible for optimising data from Board Metrics, Key Results and other sources, to tell the story of how our Transformation activities are fulfilling LBGs strategy, working with other team members to produce artefacts that enable senior leaders to make decisions about how to move the business forward.
  • Manage risk-based governance issues into the Strategic Delivery Committee – finding opportunities to increase benefits, improve customer outcomes, potential areas of delivery concern, etc, and working with platforms to bring content that can be discussed with senior leaders from across the business.
  • Develop deeper insight on the Investment-funded delivery and value creation for a specific Business Area. You will build knowledge on how that business intends to use the investment resources available to achieve its strategy.
