About the role

  • IT Infrastructure engineer – coordinating activity and act as go to person for the infra team
  • This role will suit someone who has extensive experience working Cloud technologies (particularly engineers with extensive experience supporting predominantly SaaS IT eco systems). This is an exciting time to join Boku – we are working through transformational projects, and this is an opportunity to design and build systems to a high standard.
  • You will be responsible for project design, delivery and ongoing management of Corporate IT projects. These include a Single Sign (SSO) on implementation across the Corporate IT estate
  • Day to day support for Boku Corporate Firewall Solution - working with Security Operations team
  • Support and resolve IT MDM deployment issues.
  • Working with Boku Security team - design and architect a secure Microsoft 365 environment, aligning to ISO 27001:2022 and NIST Controls
  • Design and implement zero-touch automation process for laptop deployments using Apple Business Manager, Microsoft Autopilot, Kandji (Mac MDM) and Microsoft Intune
  • Implement upgrades, patching, software packaging via our MDM platforms Microsoft Intune and Kandji
  • Provide innovative solutions to maintain a high standard for our technology stack.
  • Provide 3rd line support for issues escalated from the helpdesk team. Mentor 1st level helpdesk
  • Support change control processes within IT team
  • You would need experience with CICD pipelines and tools associated with DevOps

What you need to succeed

  • Experience providing L3 support in similar roles
  • In-depth knowledge of supporting and managing end user devices (Windows, MacOS, Linux) via MDM solution. Includes design, deployment and reporting of security and IT policies to end point devices.
  • Experience with IT transformation projects that deliver automation and integration into tech stack.
  • Experience working with third party SaaS product (Slack, Zoom etc)
  • Experience leading and managing transformation change through IT projects.
  • Manage and support Microsoft Azure AD / Entra ID (or other SSO solutions such as Okta or OneLogin) and MFA knowledge is essential.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID SSO migrations.
  • Management of Microsoft Intune and Kandji (or similar MDM solutions)
  • Experience in designing and building automation platforms to support end point deployments with Apple Business Manager and Microsoft Autopilot.
  • Knowledge of automation technologies and techniques.
  • Bash and PowerShell scripting.
  • Strong networking knowledge (VLANs, VPNs, Firewalls, Wifi etc.).
  • Must be able to write, maintain and update technical and project documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
