Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead a team of business analysts supporting the BAE Systems Enterprise portfolio of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the team in a dynamic environment, ensuring effective collaboration, and delivering high-quality solutions that meet stakeholder needs. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills to drive program success.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations of COTS applications, providing technical and functional support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership:
    • Lead and manage a team of application support specialists, including providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Ensure team members have the necessary skills, resources, and support to deliver high-quality solutions.
  2. Stakeholder Management:
    • Act as a primary liaison between Engineering, stakeholders, including project sponsors, end-users and technical teams, to facilitate effective information sharing and coordination.
    • Interact with various stakeholders, including product owners, Business Technology Officer, and other teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations, resolve conflicts, and negotiate priorities as needed.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program success.
    • Communicate application support plans, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including business leaders and IT teams
  3. Business Analyst Application Administration
    • Drives collaboration and communication among ESS IT teams and Engineering, ensuring aligned priorities and seamless operations.
    • Assist with Budgeting for sector application usage
    • Oversee Application License Management and Renewal Process
    • Roadmap planning for application portfolio
    • Ensure compliance with IT standards, policies, and procedures with experience in and knowledge of DFARS; NIST SP 800-171, NIST SP 800-53, and CMMC or similar security controls
  4. Technical Leadership
    • Provide technical guidance and oversight to the Business Analyst team, ensuring solutions meet technical requirements and standards.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to inform technical decisions.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related Engineering field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, IT, or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in a management or leadership role.
  • Knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Tools and Applications
  • Managing service ticket operations, ensuring timely resolution of tickets and incidents in ServiceNow by monitoring SLAs, KPIs, and client satisfaction metrics to ensure service excellence
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing IT projects
  • Proven experience managing COTS Application Licenses
  • Knowledge of Engineering Tools deployment
  • Project Management Professional Preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities with great Time management and organizational skill
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of technical requirements

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Fluency in English, with ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across different regions and cultures
  • Experience in supporting manufacturing, operations, or a related field is preferred

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
