Scope of Role
Reporting to our IT Service Delivery Manager, as an IT Support Specialist your primary role will be to support the Systems Administrator with a variety of tasks from Hardware/Software setup and supporting the IT team by providing essential support services to the wider company.
As an IT Support Specialist, you will:
- Setup laptops for new users (Windows, macOS, Linux)
- Utilise the IT Service Desk tool to work with employees experiencing first level IT support issues
- Learn about system administration across several business systems such as Office 365, JIRA, Slack and Teams Phone
- Develop excellent customer service skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- A strong work ethic and interpersonal astuteness
- The ability to work pragmatically
- Strong Computer Skills
- Pre-existing knowledge of using a Service Desk tool is advantageous
- ITIL knowledge is useful
