Junior Technical Writer at Edenred PayTech

Swindon - Hybrid

Edenred PayTech, a leading provider of innovative payment solutions, is seeking a talented Junior Technical Writer to join our growing team in Swindon, UK. In this exciting role, you'll play a vital part in creating clear, concise, and user-friendly technical documentation for our cutting-edge payment solutions!

What You'll Do

  • Create product playbooks that give a plain English overview of Edenred PayTech’s B2B services, how they work, and the benefits of using them.

  • Create other documentation (such as release notes, FAQs, and user manuals) to be part of the product release process.

  • Develop, introduce, and communicate guidelines for documentation to ensure all technical information is consistent, correct, and professional.

  • Engage with the development team and business stakeholders to ensure relevant documentation is produced.

  • Edit and proof-read documentation created by others before publishing.

  • Review and maintain existing documentation to ensure it is still correct and up to date.

  • Represent and understand end-users to ensure product features are clearly communicated.

What We're Looking For

  • A positive attitude and outlook, whilst also being determined, enthusiastic and resilient.

  • Highly organised and able to work independently with agreed remit and autonomy.

  • At least a year of demonstrable experience working with documentation OR demonstratable experience working in a role where writing documentation was one of your responsibilities.

  • The ability to communicate complex technical ideas simply, clearly, and concisely.

  • Ability to work with external international clients and third parties in a customer-facing business.

  • An academic background ideally in science, engineering, or computer-related subject.

  • The ability and enthusiasm to learn new cutting-edge technology.

  • Strong investigative and analytical skills, with an attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
