Manage and grow strategic eCommerce client relationships by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, creating tailored technical and commercial proposals, leading sales processes from discovery to close, coordinating with internal teams, and representing scandiweb in international meetings and travel.
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager with a strong technical understanding of eCommerce solutions and integrations. The role focuses on expanding long-term partnerships by identifying growth opportunities across scandiweb’s digital commerce, development, and experience services.
Our Key Account Managers work with international eCommerce brands and enterprise clients such as Puma, Läderach, Samsung, and The New York Times, helping them scale their digital commerce operations. The role combines strategic account growth with active sales engagement to uncover opportunities within existing and prospective client organizations.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of web development and/or project management methodologies
- Technical understanding of eCommerce components and structure
- Hands-on experience selling digital solutions
- Self-motivation to learn new frameworks and systems to advance your expertise
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Magento/Adobe Commerce, Shopify, Hyvä, Akeneo, or PimCore
- Experienced in nurturing relationships with clients
- Confident communication skills – can express yourself clearly in spoken, written, and presentation formats
- Ability to translate business objectives into clear technical and commercial proposals
- Fluent in spoken and written English. scandiweb works internationally
- Willingness to travel internationally, including Europe, the Middle East, and the US.
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture client relationships while driving sales growth through upselling and cross-selling services
- Research prospects and existing clients to understand business objectives and uncover growth opportunities
- Develop strategic account plans, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention
- Stay up-to-date about industry trends and market conditions
- Lead daily sales activities, including preparing new offers and engaging potential clients through calls
- Participate in all stages of the sales process for both inbound and outbound leads, from introductory calls to solutionizing
- Serve as a trusted advisor for the client and scandiweb’s CTOs and CEOs
- Prepare compelling business presentations and proposals tailored to the specific needs of prospective clients
