Job Description:

Responsible for identifying new business opportunities and forging relationships with new customers as well as maintaining and growing business with existing customers, in line with the company objectives and strategy.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Manages and nurtures business with existing food service customers in the UK and supports International Sales Manager with daily management of several accounts in Europe.

  • Initiates negotiations with new customers under guidance of Sales Manager.

  • Ensures regular pricing updates to customers in accordance with market evolution.

  • Manages sales and new product development projects, keeps track of various business opportunities and ensures they’re moving effectively through the project pipeline.

  • Updates frequently Supply Chain and Operations on customer demand and promotions.

  • Communicates regularly with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, R&D and other relevant areas of business to ensure company is meeting customer requirements.

  • Ensures company is delivering best-in-class customer service and support.

  • Ensures compliance with regulations and relevant company policies.

  • Identifies potential customers and new business opportunities.

  • Forges business relationship with new customers.

Key Ingredients:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field

  • 5 or more years of experience in Sales, preferably in Food Service and ideally in dairy

  • Very conscientious work

  • Strong organization and planning

  • Extremely resilient

  • Process Excellence

  • Knowledge of food law

  • Creative problem solver and good strategy behavior

  • Results Oriented

  • Sensitive listener and communicator   

  • Availability to travel up to 50% (on annual basis)
