Job Details
The role of the Lead Product Manager is a critical position within the product function at MWI. The Lead PM is expected to have responsibility for critical products in the company and exhibit excellent product and leadership behaviours to the product team. The role will have line report requirements and a remit to mentor the product team, working alongside the Group PM to shape an outstanding and strategic product discipline.
Deep knowledge of product management practices and a mindset of lean delivery via incremental value execution is a must. They will understand the internal business stakeholder needs and match these with a knowledge of the external environment, assessing market and customer needs to ensure the product roadmap and portfolio of projects delivers.

Contribute and manage delivery against an agreed product vision and strategy

Drive the roadmap across business-critical products

Bring the outside environment into the organisation with competitive analysis, industry insight and innovation scanning

Translating customer insight into requirements, product experience and value add solutions

Initiating and planning the portfolio of projects that drive the product development

Build business cases which align to business goals and provide clear measures of success

Engage with internal development, engineering, marketing, and senior management representatives.

Cultivate deep vendor and customer relationships to ensure a timely supply of requirements and communication

Management of a minimum viable product to ensure delivery at pace and clear go to market proposition

Manage and report on budget plans including retrospectives on feature investment

Manage 3rd party technology partners

Oversee product development and ensure quality experience is delivered to our customers

Launch readiness to ensure product adoption and advocacy within customer base

Develop and implement best practice ways of working based on industry standards and agile methodology

Track performance of new capability and benefit realisation in partnership with finance teams

Market research scanning and reporting

Data Analysis and insight reporting.

Understand and comply with job relevant Companies Practice Standards at all times.

Understand the Companies standard operating procedures and attend training sessions as appropriate.

Experience, skills and knowledge requirements:
