Job Description

As Group Product Manager – Safety & Compliance, you will lead a strategic portfolio focused on enabling enterprises to meet their EHS and regulatory compliance goals. You will own the product vision, roadmap, and execution strategy, while managing a team of Product Managers and Product Owners. This role combines market insight, product leadership and cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation and business impact.

The Product Manager role requires knowledge of

  • Current EHS industry challenges and trends, approaches to management and execution of EHS programs; best practices, strategic management and compliance.
  • Expertise in EHS processes such as Incident Management & Investigation, Job Safety Analysis, Behaviour Based Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Air Emissions, Waste and Water Management.
  • Expertise in Regulatory Compliance processes such as Audit & Assurance Program Management, Regulatory Requirement Tracking, Task Management,
  • Software development processes (such as Kanban, Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework)
  • Product management best practices to ensure that the Product team works most efficiently to identify, prioritize, specify and deliver product improvements which meet market needs.

The role manages the Product Owners performing software release management, including short and long-term software roadmap and requirement specification development, product marketing and pre-and post-sales enablement and support, technical analysis, application design, and configuration management.

In interaction with Clients, Prospects, Partners, Business Users, Pre-sales teams, Professional Services, Program Managers and Software developers, the position will be responsible for maximizing the revenue generated from the product portfolio.

Responsibilities

Portfolio Leadership

  • Own and evangelize the Safety & Compliance solutions product vision and roadmap.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Define and size market segments or contribute to research on market size.
  • Conduct win/loss analysis and competitors detailed analysis.
  • Position EHS application for target market and buyer profiles.
  • Propose strategic product investment to address market and increase profitability while balancing resources and working in collaboration with Product Managers across the platform.
  • Communicate portfolio progress, challenges and opportunities effectively.

Team Management

  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers and Product Owners.
  • Set clear goals, provide feedback, and foster a culture of ownership and accountability.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Safety & Compliance product team and senior leadership.

Software Product Design

  • Oversee and directs product owners on high-level software requirements for the development team that will be converted into user stories.
  • Plan and monitor software deliverables, goals, and milestones to contribute to objectives
  • Ensure alignment between delivered software and business requirements.
  • Manage stakeholder communications around timelines and scope changes.

Go-to-Market & Sales Enablement

  • Develop compelling product marketing collaterals that address market needs and trends
  • Create launch content for internal stakeholders (Presales, Services, Sales, Support) and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Sales and Customer Success channels with market, technical and product expertise e.g. key product demos, sandbox trials, customer success and account management reviews, product launch webinars
  • Represent Enablon at industry events, conferences, and customer workshops.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to lead and grow product teams.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Deep understanding of EHS and regulatory compliance domains.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for innovation and technology.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Process Safety, Health, Safety, Risk preferred. Master’s degree in any of these areas is desirable. 

Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in B2B enterprise product management OR 3-5 years’ experience in EHS, Safety, Operational Risk Management, Audit or Assurance.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging and product demonstrations to diverse audiences — from end users to senior executives.
