Your role at Dynatrace

Dynatrace is seeking an experienced Salesforce Service Cloud Developer driven to deliver high-quality solutions to drive successful outcomes. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to design, develop, and implement Salesforce applications that leverage Service Cloud capabilities. If you're an expert in Apex, Lightning Components, and integrations with external systems, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications with a focus on Service Cloud.
  • Configure/build new and enhanced functionality in the Salesforce platform using declarative and/or programmatic solutions.
  • Customize/build Salesforce Service Cloud applications using custom objects, workflows, validations, and formulas while adhering to Salesforce best practices
  • Develop and maintain Apex Classes, Triggers, Visualforce Pages, Lightning Components, and Flows.
  • Participate in the design process of integrations from Salesforce with external applications and third-party services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce performance, functionality, and integrations.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, security guidelines, and coding standards.
  • Participate in unit testing, code reviews, and deployment activities.
  • Actively participate/lead demos and reviews with team (as needed)
  • Follow Agile software development methodology and team architecture standards.
  • Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout life cycle to identify issues/defects

This is a remote eligible position. Candidates who live within a 45 mile radius of Boston, MA; Detroit, MI; and Denver, CO will be required to work hybrid (2 days per week) out of our Dyntrace office. Candidates are required to work EST hours for this position.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have 5+ years of experience configuring and building Salesforce solutions
  • Must have 5+ years of Salesforce Experience Cloud development experience

Preferred Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud (Case Management, Live Agent, Service Console, Knowledge Management, Entitlements, and SLAs).
  • Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows.
  • Experience with Salesforce REST and SOAP APIs, platform events, and integration patterns.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and development best practices
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with JIRA, Confluence, or other project tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Security, Profiles, Roles, Permission Sets, and Sharing rules.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Compensation and Rewards

DOE, salary $160K - $180K, plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401K, PTO. Total compensation may vary depending on candidate experience/education and location.
