The Lean Leader will be responsible for leading the lean manufacturing strategy at a complex vertically integrated plant. This role will be accountable for planning and directing all aspects of the unit lean manufacturing and supply chain excellence strategies.
As a Lean Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Developing operational plan for the manufacturing and improvement activities
- Suggesting improvements in products, processes and procedures of plant to ensure reliability, consistency and increased throughput on the production line
- Exchanging data and information interaction concerns also improvements in products, processes and procedures
- Having standardized manufacturing processes and define guidelines for choosing the right actions
- Managing standardized manufacturing processes to define guidelines in order to choose the right actions
- Co-ordinating and / or leading sessions / workouts with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelors in STEM or business discipline or equivalent experience
- Have Six Sigma Green Belt certification as a minimum
- Have proven experience in manufacturing operations
- Have very good communication and presentation skills to all levels of audience, leadership report out and trainings.
- Have good analytical, problem solving, and process improvement skills
- Have the ability to influence others and lead small teams
- Be able to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
- Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
