We are seeking an experienced Legal Operations Manager to lead the implementation of a new legal technology platform. The role is delivery-focused: ensuring successful system rollout, data migration, and user adoption across the business within a defined 6 month period.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Implementation (initial phase)
- Lead project management of the new legal tech platform rollout.
- Coordinate with the vendor, IT, procurement, and the legal team to deliver successful implementation.
- Oversee data migration, workflow design, template automation, and reporting setup.
- Train and onboard legal team members, driving adoption and embedding best practice.
- Deliver training and onboarding sessions to wider business.
- Provide weekly progress updates to the General Counsel and stakeholders.
Longer-Term Legal Ops Responsibilities
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks for the legal function.
- Identify and execute process improvements across contracting, matter management, and risk/compliance workflows.
- Manage vendor relationships and future legal tech enhancements.
- Act as a business partner to the GC and senior leadership, providing operational insight and data-led recommendations.
- Drive efficiency initiatives, knowledge management, and scalable processes as the company grows.
- Troubleshoot adoption challenges and optimise workflows during rollout.
- Minimum 5 years of experience required in transition management and/or project management
- Strong track record in implementing legal technology platforms.
- Experience in legal operations within an in-house environment.
- Skilled project manager, with change management and adoption expertise.
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Strategic mindset: able to deliver both immediate transformation and longer-term operational improvements.
