About the role
As the UK Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the UK Marketing Manager across all marketing activities with an emphasis on coordination of events and broker engagement. You will work closely with the UK team, including business development, underwriting, security research, and with US colleagues from marketing and other departments as required.
The successful candidate will be highly organised with good attention to detail, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, have a desire to learn and develop in a marketing role and the drive to help the wider team work towards our growth targets. The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and to work within a variety of workflows and tools is critical.
This role is based remotely but may be required to travel to the London office occasionally or to other locations within the UK. Some flexibility on working hours may be required when working on projects with the US team.
Responsibilities
- Help manage Monday boards - keep projects and tasks up to date
- Coordinate purchase and stock-keeping of branded merchandise
- Research and create target lists of brokers for events and send invitations
- Coordinate Coalition events - research venues, facilitate contracts, work with venue on set-up, courier merchandise etc.
- Work on setting up content landing pages, webinars, emails with Marketing Ops
- Submit and coordinate design requests with marketing project managers
- Support the organisation of exhibition events - including booking stands, vendors, creating graphics and other design assets, tracking forms, arranging merchandise etc.
- Manage monthly newsletter / broker email schedule
- Work with content team on UK versions of collateral
- Work with small brokers on projects such as co-branding of collateral
Skills and Qualifications
- At least 2 years in an administrative role, or hold a business or marketing qualification
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Excellent written English with strong attention to detail
- Experience with handling vendors and suppliers
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability and confidence to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Flexibility, a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn about cyber and insurance for the purposes of the role
