What you'll be doing?

Veolia is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join a fast-growing marketing team. This role will support a wide range of marketing activities at a junior level, offering exposure to the entire marketing mix and the opportunity to collaborate with inhouse design, creative, social and digital experts The employee is required to support all elements of campaigns (from planning through to activation) and utilise/learn appropriate tools where necessary to support their roles. 

  • Responsible for supporting the Marketing Lead in developing, implementing and promoting key campaigns to achieve objectives set out by the marketing plans.

  • Responsible for supporting the entire marketing function with the development of superb content that drives our sustainability message to our target audience.

  • Responsible for conducting competitor research and keeping on top of sector trends and developing relationships with customers when marketing opportunities arise.

  • Responsible for self-organisation of delegated tasks, and keeping the Marketing Lead and Marketing Manager informed and updated.

  • Responsible for contributing ideas to the wider team to support the set strategy.

  • Must be a self-starter, keen to learn and take responsibility for following individual personal development plans as agreed with the Marketing Lead to self-develop marketing skills.

  • Ensuring all Marketing generated data is managed legally and appropriately.

What we're looking for?

  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to write for a range of audiences.

  • Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work to a tight deadline.

  • Knowledge and experience of software such as Canva would be advantageous.

  • An individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is confident talking to stakeholders from across the business.
