JOB DESCRIPTION:

Abbott’s Toxicology business is recruiting for a dynamic Marketing Manager Global Products – Toxicology across International.

Based from our Maidenhead office, you will contribute to the sales growth of Global Products across the key markets and lead a small team (second-line leadership) working across all levels within the Public Health, Local Authority and private healthcare provider settings.

What you’ll do

  • Build and lead strategy development and marketing execution for international markets to achieve sales and margin plan
  • Develop specific strategies for the priority focused countries and support associated campaigns and tactics
  • Lead and develop the International marketing team (to include marketing communications, product management, graphic development) as well as being the key stakeholder contact for the R&D organisation
  • Act as key International marketing lead on the Global Products Marketing Council
  • Represent voice of business marketing requirements upstream and down stream
  • Drive and execute yearly Global marketing plan development cycle and execution strategy at part of total Toxicology business unit
  • Build compelling value propositions and train and support the sales organization on content delivery
  • Assess and present business cases for portfolio expansion products and services
  • Support Global Product portfolio development strategy and execution
  • Competitive assessment and development of tactics to differentiate and best position the business
  • Key opinion leader development and life cycle management
  • Lead industry led coalitions, review boards and workshops

What you’ll need:

  • Secondary degree desirable (MBA, MSc.)
  • Significant experience of down-stream channel marketing
  • Ideally experience in healthcare marketing or product marketing
  • Product portfolio management of value >$50 MM USD
  • Successful experience of product launches
  • Experience of business development and implementation of growth strategies, ideally across multi-geographies and in fast-moving businesses
  • Key opinion leader and customer testimony life cycle management
  • Sales and marketing automation knowledge
  • Prior leadership experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Financial forecasting / sales & operating plan experience
