Reports To: CEO

Location: Bristol / Vilnius / Uppsala (3 days per week)

Mission

Pax2pay is a rapidly growing FinTech business on a mission to modernise and simplify payments for the travel industry. Our customers are some of the biggest players in the travel sector, and our partners are key players in the FinTech world. With a growing international presence, Pax2pay operates out of three key strategic hubs in Bristol, Uppsala, and Vilnius. Established in 2019, we are currently a growing team of 38, aiming to become the number one choice for B2B payments within the UK and EEA.

The Role

We are seeking a strategic and high-energy Marketing Manager to lead our marketing function and drive the next phase of our global growth. As Marketing Manager, you will not just execute campaigns but will be the architect of our market positioning. You will be responsible for defining how Pax2pay differentiates itself in a crowded FinTech landscape, managing the full customer lifecycle, and serving as a critical bridge between Product, Sales, and the Executive team.

This role requires a leader who can move seamlessly between high-level strategic planning and technical execution in HubSpot and Clay.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Executive Influence:

  • Strategic Planning: Own the annual marketing roadmap, budget allocation, and ROI reporting.
  • Senior Management Comms: Act as the primary marketing stakeholder in leadership meetings, translating complex marketing data into clear commercial outcomes for the CSO and Board.
  • Market Differentiation: Conduct deep-dive competitive analysis to define our unique value proposition, ensuring our "why" is clear to the global travel market.

Growth & Search Excellence:

  • Growth Marketing: Implement a data-led growth framework to optimise the conversion funnel, from initial awareness to product advocacy.
  • Search & Optimisation: Oversee the SEO/SEM strategy, ensuring Pax2pay dominates search share-of-voice for travel-payment solutions.
  • HubSpot Ownership: Act as the platform lead for HubSpot, architecting sophisticated automation, lead scoring, and multi-touch attribution models.

Product, Content & Lifecycle:

  • Product Marketing: Partner with the Product team to launch new features; crucially, you must identify and flag when product-market fit is not working and lead the strategic pivot in messaging or targeting.
  • Lifecycle Marketing: Design and oversee the end-to-end Content and Lifecycle strategy, ensuring we provide value at every stage of the B2B buyer journey.
  • Brand Integrity: Ensure all high-impact content (white papers, case studies, and PR) reinforces our position as an industry thought leader.

Sales Collaboration & Team Management:

  • Work in lockstep with sales to ensure marketing activity directly fuels a high-quality sales pipeline.
  • Manage relationships with external specialist agencies (SEO, PR, Design) to ensure maximum output and brand consistency.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in B2B marketing, with at least 3 years in a management or lead capacity.
  • Sector Expertise: Mandatory experience in Travel or FinTech. You must understand the specific pain points of travel intermediaries and payment rails.
  • Strategic Mastery: Proven track record of building marketing functions from the ground up or scaling them through significant growth phases.
  • Technical Expert: Advanced proficiency in HubSpot and the broader MarTech stack (Google Analytics, Search Console, CRM integration).
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation skills; comfortable challenging the status quo and presenting to Senior Management.
  • Problem Solving: A "product-first" mindset with the ability to diagnose why certain features or campaigns aren't converting and the courage to change course.

  • Competitive senior-level salary
  • Hybrid working environment
