Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 7:30am – 3:30pm

The job role:
-
Provide Mechanical support for all key fixed plant and equipment at the Devon Ball Clays operations

Maintain plant availability at high levels through planned routine and reactive maintenance
-
Maintain mechanical fixed processing plant - including fans, filters, mills, conveyors, packaging, etc.

Fault find and resolve mechanical issues
-
Record what was done to resolve breakdowns and investigate the root cause via SAP
-
Adhere to Health & Safety standards

Welding and fabrication work
Please note this role will involve working at height.

You will:

Have an NVQ Level 3, or equivalent within mechanical engineering
-
Legally be able to drive in the UK
-
Have previous experience of working on Mills, Pumps, Conveyors, Bagging Equipment and other Process Plant
-
Have a positive attitude with the ability to work under pressure
