National Account Manager

Location - This role can be based anywhere within the UK.

POSITION SUMMARY

Diversey are seeking a National Account Manager to join their UK team. In this role, you will be responsible for penetrating and maintaining relationships with Strategic Accounts and National Key Accounts within the cleaning sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively manage existing Strategic and National Key Account Customers - increasing business via churn prevention and cross-selling i.e. increase of current penetration / share-of-wallet with existing customers

  • Responsible for onboarding new Business wins (Strategic/National Accounts); effectively managing the rollout alongside sales support to optimise customer satisfaction.

  • Deploy sales and service model for each account delivering customer satisfaction with optimum cost to serve

  • Working in collaboration with the Field and Internal Sales Teams, to ensure that account and call objectives are delivered consistently and to a high standard across the Customers estate

  • Ensure an up-to-date account plan for each Account aligned to customer objectives and reviewed as part of the quarterly business review

  • Coordinate account development activities with sector leader, Commercial Lead and Commercial Business Partner

  • Manage both a direct and indirect route to market approach on behalf of the end customer.

  • Ensure utilisation of remote sales tools and encourage service teams to utilise remote service tools to ensure efficient service

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS / LICENCES

  • Previous knowledge and experience of being in an Account Management, or similar role.

  • Experience of renegotiating national contracts

  • Experience of the cleaning and hygiene industry and/or of industry sectors served by Diversey (desirable)

  • Strong, analytical, numerical and IT skills (Excel, Powerpoint, SF)

  • Ability to influence and motivate others.
