We’re looking for a Motor Network Operations Manager  to join our Network Operations Team and play a key role in being responsible for managing repairers and their performance within a designated area across Avant’s repair network.

The Motor Network Operations Manager is expected to manage a region of repairers to deliver optimum performance against client SLA’s and the requirements of the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivery of assigned client SLA’s.
  • Daily responsibility for the performance of repairers within an assigned area.
  • Onboarding network repairers as required to provide optimal coverage and repair capacity.
  • Managing operational performance of repairers across the Network Operations Team.
  • Managing systems as appropriate to ensure delivery of data and performance metrics.
  • Ensuring repairers complete all data requirements for the successful completion of repairs and subsequent reporting.
  • Ensuring repairers meet all requirements of the business regarding compliance and documentation.
  • Develop and initiate strategies to improve repairer performance including the use of balance scorecard and action plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with repairers.
  • Attend meetings and provide positive input into client review meetings and client liaison.
  • Enhance the business profile with repairers inside and outside the repair network.
  • Manage and assist in customer complaint resolution.
  • · Attend internal and external meetings as required.

Skills and experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a similar role.
  • Experience of implementing and improving processes and procedures.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to find solutions with data.
  • Motivated with a desire to succeed on a personal and professional level.
  • Ability to plan, manage and work on own initiative.
  • Knowledge of collision repair process and methods.
  • Background in collision repair sector.
  • Knowledge of collision repair process and methods.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to exceed targets on a consistent basis.
  • Ability to think analytically, be a good problem solver, but to react effectively to scenarios in a pressured environment.

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Recent experience in automotive engineering or bodyshop estimating / management.
  • Knowledge of Audatex and other estimating systems.
  • Knowledge of the working practices of insurers with regard to motor claims.
