As a New Business Sales Consultant, you will contact prospective customers to finalize insurance sales through outbound and inbound calls, ensuring compliance with regulations.
If you’re the kind of person who gets a buzz from closing a sale and loves solving problems for new clients, you’ll look forward to coming to work every day. As a New Business Sales Consultant, you’ll be the first point of contact for our prospective customers—the UK’s small business heroes—helping them secure the protection they need to thrive.
We're looking at our next start date, 2nd February 2026
The role has a starting salary of £27,280 with potential to increase to £28,411 within 6 months. You can increase your salary once every twelve months, with half-year reviews, to £31,648, then £34,866, and finally £40,033
Here is what you’ll be doing:
- Instead of juggling administrative changes or renewals, your focus will be purely on winning new business:
- Outbound Sales (Warm Leads): You’ll make outbound calls to prospective customers who have already requested a quote, guiding them to the right policy.
- Inbound Sales: You’ll handle incoming calls from potential customers ready to discuss their quotes and buy.
- Closing with Quality: You will follow the full sales process to completion, ensuring card payments and Direct Debits are accurate while adhering to FCA regulations and GDPR.
Who we are looking for:
- We’re looking for someone who is highly motivated, passionate about sales, and resilient. To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Sales Experience: Experience in telephone sales is essential—ideally within business insurance, though we welcome strong sales professionals from other industries.
- Resilience & Focus: You are able to handle objections, maintain attention to detail, and stay focused while working independently.
- Tech Savvy: You are computer literate and comfortable multitasking across different systems while talking to customers.
- Adaptability: You are open to change and eager to learn as our products and processes evolve.
