Description

Cycling Weekly has been bringing its readers quality news and features since 1891 and is looking to add to its news team. 

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the News Editor, you'll produce interesting and inspiring digital and print editorial content across news, racing and tech, but also fitness and general participation.

You'll originate and pursue lines of enquiry through trustworthy sources, add your fresh take or opinion on cycling stories and post to our social media platforms to generate engagement and referrals.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

  • Experience writing news and features
  • In-depth knowledge of cycling
  • Be able to work quickly and flexibly - sometimes including unsociable hours 
  • Understanding of content needs for online writing, including use of CMSs, SEO and social media 
  • Flexibility to travel to events

This is a Part-time role working 4 days per week, for a fixed term of 12 months
