We’re hiring a freelance Online Content Editor, fluent in Danish, German, and English, to join our remote team on a 12-month contract. You’ll focus on reviewing and curating digital content for users in Denmark and Germany, shaping the mobile news experience by selecting high-quality, locally relevant articles from across the web.
You’ll use your editorial judgment, regional knowledge, and cultural awareness to create engaging, policy-compliant news feeds that reflect what matters most to local audiences.
What you’ll bring:
- Full professional fluency in Danish, German, and English (spoken and written)
- Strong editorial judgment and understanding of digital media trends
- Deep familiarity with current affairs, culture, and media landscapes in Denmark and Germany
- Experience in journalism, editing, content curation, or digital publishing
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Confidence navigating CMS platforms and digital editorial tools
In this role, you will:
- Curate news and lifestyle content for users in Denmark and Germany
- Select articles from a wide range of trusted sources that are timely, engaging, and compliant
- Balance content mix across verticals (e.g. politics, entertainment, health, tech)
- Monitor breaking news and regional trends in real time
- Apply editorial guidelines to ensure accuracy, diversity, and relevance
