About the Role:
The Fulfilment Strategy & Operations Lead role at Nivoda will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our global B2B diamond fulfilment operations. This high-impact individual contributor role will work closely with the VP of Fulfilment to drive key initiatives to optimise the platform’s performance, focusing on courier partnerships, quality, automation, and fulfilment strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of marketplace dynamics and fulfilment operations, combined with an analytical mindset and strong project management skills. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Nivoda remains the most trusted and efficient platform in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reliability: Lead efforts to ensure the consistent performance and uptime of the marketplace, addressing any issues proactively.

  • Optimization and Monitoring: Implement and manage tools and processes for continuous optimization and monitoring of marketplace operations.

  • Hubs Strategy: Design and implement a global hubs strategy to enhance delivery speed and reliability.

  • Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with logistics partners to expand our global delivery capabilities and ensure marketplace reliability.

  • Reporting & Dashboards: Create, automate, and maintain reporting tools and dashboards for fulfillment KPIs, SLAs, and strategic tracking. Analyze operational performance, uncover insights, and drive data-informed decision-making.

  • Quality: Establish and enforce rigorous quality standards across all aspects of the marketplace, ensuring a seamless and trustworthy user experience.

  • Batching Strategy: Develop and execute strategies for order batching to optimize processing times and reduce costs.

  • Ultra-Fast, Everywhere: Drive initiatives to achieve ultra-fast fulfillment times across all markets, ensuring Nivoda's competitive edge.

  • Ongoing Fulfillment: Oversee ongoing fulfillment processes, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business objectives.

  • Automation: Lead automation projects aimed at streamlining marketplace operations, from order processing to delivery.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Tech, Data, and Commercial teams to support execution of key business priorities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in marketplace management, operations, or a similar role, with a proven track record of driving reliability and optimization.

  • Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.

  • Deep understanding of marketplace dynamics, fulfillment processes, and supply chain management.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in Excel, SQL, or BI tools

  • Excellent problem-solving and process design skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.

  • Experience in the diamond or luxury goods industry.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data to drive decision-making.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
