As an Operations Supervisor based in Plymouth, you’ll be responsible for:
Support the Branch Manager with daily operational activities, ensuring the branch runs smoothly and efficiently.
Oversee the warehouse and yard to ensure safe, compliant handling and storage of materials
Supervise, motivate, and develop branch staff, ensuring high performance and teamwork
Assist with invoicing and account queries and contribute to business planning activities
Maintaining fleet of vehicles
Ensuring all picking/ loading of deliveries is done in a timely manner
Forklift training provided
This is a full time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00. No weekend working.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
Team leader or management experience in a warehouse or operations environment.
Strong understanding of warehouse processes, including goods in/out, stock control, and order fulfilment
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a small team to achieve performance targets
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving
Flexibility to work rotating shifts and adapt to changing priorities
