Senior Partner Program Manager – Global Operations Channel - Contract Role (8-Month Assignment)

This is a role with globally responsibility for optimizing and managing the successful execution of the AVEVA Channel Business with a focus on our Operations portfolio and partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for the partner programs for Distributors and VARs across the AVEVA operations portfolio. This includes, strategic planning, identification and recruitment of potential channel partners, engagement, support and planning with our regional channel and marketing sales organizations, and partner performance management and reporting across the AVEVA Operations portfolio. This role will track results and conduct analyses for AVEVAs Operations channel, while identifying new opportunities for improved performance across new geographic and market segments, channel operations, partner marketing and more. The successful candidate will provide leadership, vision, and subject matter expertise for all aspects of partner engagement across Distributors and VARs to accelerate growth and ensure meeting our aggressive goals.
Additionally, this role will provide guidance for our Channel and Regional Marketing organizations with responsibility for maximizing the impact of marketing spend. The successful candidate will work closely with the Global Partner Program Leadership, our Operations Business Unit Leaders, Regional Channel Sales Teams, Marketing, Legal, Training, and Support teams to drive growth and increase performance for AVEVA’s Operations channel. As this role works across a broad set of functions in the organization, the successful candidate will have demonstrated competence in influencing cross functional teams and will bring a positive attitude to addressing challenges as opportunities.
Experience in Operations software space is a large positive, as is knowledge of industrial operations, creation of customer value propositions, and experience in channel management and SaaS sales.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Contribute to Annual Business Planning for the AVEVA Channel Business, working with our Channel Management Leadership and our Regional Channel Sales organizations. Forecast and Report performance against these plans on a regular basis, identifying underperforming regions and partners, creating remediation plans with regional channel management where necessary.
· Identify & Recruit Operations channel partners with regional channel management as necessary for execution of Business Unit strategies and achievement of plan. Review and improve partner onboarding processes and coordinate delivery of enablement activities.
· Proactively work with other Channel functions, SI Program Management, Product Management, Legal, Support, and other departments as necessary to identify opportunities for improvement in operational issues and operationalize solutions.
· Implement, monitor, track and report Operations channel partner program KPIs. Report process health, performance and effectiveness. Participate in defining performance objectives with Regional Channel Sales teams.
· Act as the Subject Matter Expert on all systems and processes related to the Operations channel program. Including, but not limited to, those areas of these applications that are related: SalesForce (CRM), Channel Insight, Partner Pages, Partner On-line Community, Partner Order Fulfillment, Partner Marketing Portal and various other systems as necessary.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
· Assist as necessary with related partner types, such as SIs.
· Support other initiatives and programs as assigned.
EDUCATION—MINIMUM REQUIRED LEVEL:
Bachelor's Degree required, MBA a plus
EXPERIENCE—MINIMUM REQUIRED:
5 - 9 years of related experience with required education
10 - 15 years of related experience without required education
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS —REQUIRED:
· Excellent executive communication skills (written, oral, and presentation).
· The candidate must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, see challenges as opportunities, and have the ability to succeed in cross-functional team environment.
· The candidate must display a strong focus on achieving results and exceeding goals and objectives, always self-motivated and results driven.
· Must be detail-oriented with strong prioritization and decision-making skills in a tight-deadline environment
· Must be flexible and able to handle changes in priorities
· Sharp analytical skills and ability to process financial data into actionable results
· Demonstrated relationship building and management skills
· Experience with SalesForce and SalesForce PRM
· High degree of proficiency in PC applications, especially Microsoft Office Applications.
· Experience with databases, Microsoft Excel and analysis tools.
