The role of the People Advisor is to support all teams across the business by providing initial assistance and guidance on various queries. This role typically can involve more complex or sensitive issues such as but not exhaustive, Pay, RTW, access to systems and operational knowledge of the business and processes using the latest HR technology. The role will be pivotal in enhancing the self-service element empowering and educating our teams to find solutions through the various tools and resources available.

Job Description

**Please note this is a Fixed Term Contract until December 2026**

Your role as People Advisor

  • Shows empathy and understands the customers’ needs, holds them in the heart of everything they do
  • Holds strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills, able to analyse and find effective solutions
  • Focuses on improvement, looks for opportunities without introducing risk.
  • Able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Good attention to detail, ensuring accuracy when communicating to your customer
  • Discreet, handle sensitive information with care and maintain confidentiality
  • A team contributor, able to adapt and adjust to changes in different situations and customer needs
  • Good at prioritisation manages own workload taking accountability and responsibility for completion

 

What you’ll bring……

  • Knowledge of HR people practices and processes, including but not exhaustive, payroll, HR compliance
  • Knowledge of HR software, Workday HCM would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of GDPR processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
