As a People Data Analyst, you’ll play an essential role in building data solutions that support workforce planning, talent strategy, and more. Working closely with the People, Culture & Sustainability (PC&S) team, you’ll ensure our people data drives meaningful, strategic decisions across EFG. This is your chance to create insights that impact any company greatest resource, it’s people. 

For this opening, we’re seeking a People Data Analyst who’s ready to combine a passion for analytics with a dedication to building data-driven solutions. As a key part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to develop dashboards, refine data pipelines, and work on projects that impact EFG’s approach to people and culture. This role is more than just data support—it’s about transforming HR data into insights that empower our team and fuel smarter decision-making across the organization. 

You’ll be joining at a pivotal time to support the build-out of a full People Analytics Data suite. This will be a unique opportunity to grow with us, shaping data solutions that advance our people strategy and help establish a data-first culture in HR. This role is critical to supporting the People Analytics Data Suite, focusing on descriptive and diagnostic analysis to drive EFG’s people strategy. With the People Analytics Manager as your leader, you’ll drive many “first-ever analytical solutions” that will enable our organization’s growth.

Expectations

Build and Elevate Data-Driven Solutions 

- Dashboard Development & Continuous Iteration: Design dashboards that transform raw data into dynamic visuals using Tableau. Your work will bring workforce trends, talent planning insights, and critical metrics to life, helping the PC&S team make strategic, informed decisions;

- Data Pipeline Innovation: Partner with EFG Data Organization to develop and enhance data pipelines, leveraging SQL and Python to create seamless, reliable integrations that keep our data connected and ready for real-time insights. 

- Ad-Hoc Analytics: Step in on special projects, collaborating with the Business Technology team to bring data insights to varied initiatives across EFG. Whether analyzing workforce trends or supporting a new people initiative, your insights will be a key driver for data-backed progress;

- Responsive Data Support: Manage Jira data requests, bringing a problem-solving mindset and precision to each one, ensuring that EDO provides accurate and timely solutions for our tactical needs.

Guide Junior Talent and Foster Best Practices 

- Mentorship and Support: Share your knowledge with the HR Data Specialist, guiding them on more complex analytics tasks and promoting best practices that ensure quality and consistency across the team;

- Collaborative Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with the People Analytics Manager to support data-driven projects in workforce planning, talent management, and attrition analysis. Your insights will help set the course for data-informed decisions that align with EFG’s goals. 

Ensure Data Governance and Security 

- Data Stewardship: Champion data accuracy, security, and availability. Ensure HR data is carefully managed, following best practices for data governance, protecting sensitive information, and maintaining its reliability;

- Responsible Data Management: Maintain a high standard of data integrity by regularly auditing and monitoring data sources. Proactively identify and resolve any gaps or inconsistencies, safeguarding our data’s credibility and accessibility. 

Requirements

Create Impactful Visuals and Solutions 

- Dashboard Development: Skilled in Tableau, you know how to build dashboards that transform data into stories, making trends clear and accessible for strategic decisions;

- Data Pipeline Expertise: Proficient in ELT processes and data integration, you’re experienced in SQL and Python, ensuring data flows seamlessly to support robust analytics. 

Deliver Insightful Analysis 

- Analytical Rigor: With a focus on descriptive and diagnostic analytics, you’re skilled in workforce planning and talent metrics. You bring a thoughtful approach to analyzing and sharing insights that help guide the PC&S team. 

- Advanced SQL & Python: Expert in SQL and Python, you can transform raw data into structured insights, setting the stage for impactful, data-driven decisions. If a query runs longer than 5 minutes, you can run a query execution engine to diagnose your issue. 

Collaborate and Communicate with Purpose 

- Stakeholder Engagement: You understand that every data insight is part of a larger story. Your experience sharing workforce and talent insights with senior leaders ensures that your work is not just accurate but artfully creates a mental tapestry of insights for your stakeholders

- Clear Communication: You know how to turn data findings into clear, actionable insights that drive decisions, supporting data literacy across HR and beyond. 

- People > Numbers: You understand that your role is critical in delivering data about people in your organization, you know that these people are more than just a number and use your high EQ to deliver insights with the appropriate level of empathy 

Support and Strengthen Systems 

- HR Systems Knowledge: Proficient in HR platforms like BambooHR or HiBob, you ensure data is available, reliable, and well-managed for reporting and analysis;

- Jira Proficiency: Skilled in managing Jira data requests, you bring responsiveness and accuracy to every task;

- Analytics Toolkit Proficient: Experience in leading tools such as; Snowflake, Tableau, and Github are a must, DBT nice-to-have.
