What this job can offer you

  • As a technically-savvy and business-minded Technical Solutions Consultant you’ll be responsible for partnering with our platform customers, guiding them through technical requirements gathering, scoping, design and delivery of integration solutions related to HR and payroll platform solutions. Your role will be crucial in helping customers maximize the value they derive from our offerings and their existing technical landscape. You will be:
    • Working with innovative and complex use cases related to integration needs and opportunities of our customers.
    • Acting as a critical thought partner by capturing and sharing high-quality feedback with our Product and Research teams.
    • Tackling complex technical problems essential to our customers’ success, working across departments to achieve outstanding results.

What you bring

  • Experience in sales engineering or technical solutions consulting within the HR tech, payroll, fintech, or related industries.
  • Strong aptitude for translating business needs into impactful technology solutions that create opportunities for customers to maximize business value.
  • Proven track record of managing complex technical projects during sales cycles and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Understanding of API specifications and ability to troubleshoot scripting experience
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language.
  • A commitment to owning challenges end-to-end, with a willingness to acquire any needed skills to support both team and customer success.
  • A humble, collaborative attitude, with a focus on empathy and helping others.
  • High adaptability, with the ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and navigate changing environments.
  • Writes and speaks fluent English
  • It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical design sessions and document technical solutions with our prospective and existing platform customers, serving as their technical thought partner in achieving optimal value with Remote
  • Analyze business objectives, needs, and requirements to provide tailored technical guidance and leadership through the integration development process
  • Proactively advise customers on ways to maximize business impact with technical solutions, accelerating their time to value.
  • Responsible for planning, designing, configuring, and testing solution options alongside customers to meet unique technical requirements.
  • Support the growth of the Technical Solutions Consulting function by documenting best practices and contributing to internal and external knowledge bases.
  • Validate, synthesize, and deliver actionable feedback to the Product and Engineering teams, ensuring continuous improvement of our platform and services.

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce. We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.

The base salary range for this full-time position is between $77,500 USD - $138 000 USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
