The Pricing and RV Manager will be responsible for forecasting, monitoring, and managing the residual values of electric vehicles for our fleet. The role involves using internal data and other independent market references to assess and determine proposed vehicle valuations

What you'll do...

  • Residual Value Forecasting & Benchmarking:
  • Collate data from CAP and other independent benchmarks to assess and project the future value of the current EV fleet.Analyze market trends, battery technology, and regulatory influences affecting EV residual values.

  • RV Committee Coordination (3-4 per year):

  • Facilitate and coordinate periodic RV committees, ensuring smooth operations and effective decision-making.
  • Collate and present relevant market information and research for committee consideration.
  • Arrange input and presentations from third parties, including CAP, manufacturers, and other market participants.
  • Work with the Data team to review fleet data vs benchmarks such as CAP and Autotrader, and other relevant benchmarks, presenting key findings.
  • Take meeting minutes and prepare a summarised recommendation report for senior management.

  • Market Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Conduct monthly reviews of residual values set by the organisation against the latest benchmark data.
  • Identify and recommend potential changes in response to emerging market trends.
  • Perform ad-hoc reviews of RVs for specific vehicles or categories, triggered by market events or purchasing activity

  • Implementation & Operational Support:

  • Manage the implementation of RV changes into company systems with support from the pricing team.

What you'll need...

  • 5+ years in asset management, valuation forecasting, or financial analysis, preferably in the automotive or EV sector.
  • Experience in data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination.
  • Proficiency with third party benchmarks (e.g. CAP or Autotrader) and other benchmarking tools.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication abilities.
