The opportunity

Harvard Business Publishing’s Corporate Learning division targets enterprises that recognize leadership development as a source of competitive advantage. The Corporate Learning (CL) team’s expertise is in creating rich, interactive learning experiences that develop leaders who shape their organizations’ futures by making smart decisions at critical moments.

The Principal Learning Partner (PLP) is responsible for consulting with prospective and existing clients to design impactful leadership development solutions, drive account expansion, and ensure profitability of the overall program. The PLP serves a thought leader and has proven expertise in learning solution design to provide insights and perspective on emerging trends, and actionable strategies for effective learning. Working in close partnership with the relationship sales manager and customer success to deepen client engagement, the PLP has strong business acumen to consult credibly and understand the perspectives of client stakeholders.

What you’ll do

  • Diagnose organizational challenges, conduct needs analyses, and craft end-to-end solution architectures that drive measurable outcomes

  • Consult as a leadership development thought leader and trusted advisor to client stakeholders

  • Expand relationships with client stakeholders and manage a portfolio of client solutions

What you’ll bring

  • 10+ years’ experience in leadership development consulting and/or leading a learning and development organization

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

  • Strong commercial and business acumen skills

  • Ability to travel approximately 10%

You’ll stand out if you have

  • Deep expertise in leadership development frameworks, methodologies, and best practices

  • Experience designing and implementing large-scale learning initiatives for diverse organizations

  • A track record of consulting on business challenges and successfully translating them into leadership development solutions

110,000 - 122,000 GBP

Above is the annualized pay range for this position. In addition, this position includes the opportunity to earn our annual Performance Based Variable Pay Program. Actual salary will be set based upon a range of factors, including external benchmark market data, individual knowledge, skills, experience, location and internal equity.
