Your role at Dynatrace

We are a global leader in unified observability and security, helping thousands of enterprises keep their cloud environments running flawlessly — powered by AI, automation, and real-time analytics at scale. The Platform Solution in R&D; oversees cloud data ingestion and integration across all major hyperscalers, processing billions of cloud events daily for enterprise customers worldwide. Expanding the product team, we are looking for a customer-focused Principal Product Manager to develop, manage, and optimize our cloud observability data ingestion across multiple major hyperscalers (such as AWS, Azure, GCP). You will guide and contribute to cloud data integration roadmaps — ensuring Dynatrace remains the most trusted source of cloud observability data for AI-driven operations and agentic workflows.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Define and lead the evolution of cloud data integration roadmap priorities, balancing business objectives and customer needs, driving innovation while ensuring long-term platform sustainability, and enabling a consistent ingestion experience across cloud providers.
  • Shape the roadmap for AI-ready data ingestion — ensuring cloud telemetry is structured, reliable, and optimized for Dynatrace's AI-powered analytics, Dynatrace Intelligence, and agentic use cases.
  • Conduct product discovery and gap analysis — partnering with key stakeholders to gather feedback, identify pain points, and surface new ideas and business opportunities in the cloud ecosystem.
  • Assess and generate competitive insights — systematically compare Dynatrace's data integration for cloud platforms against competing observability and cloud-native monitoring solutions and translate findings into strategic recommendations and product strategy.
  • Establish and manage success metrics for cloud monitoring data integration (e.g., data volume, onboarding time, service coverage, customer satisfaction) and foster steering transparency across stakeholders.
  • Engage directly with customers, including customer advisory sessions and direct calls — translating customer input into concrete roadmap decisions and representing your solution to executive stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver impactful integrations that achieve measurable adoption — establishing clear communication channels and decision-making paths and acting as the main alignment contact across capabilities.
  • Collaborate with hyperscaler cloud providers as strategic partners to align roadmaps and co-develop solutions that ensure Dynatrace remains a premier integration in their ecosystem.
  • Act as a widely recognized expert across the company, sharing knowledge across the organization and mentoring emerging Product Managers — also representing the solution to executive stakeholders and the broader market.
What will help you succeed
  • 7+ years of product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated expertise, with a proven track record of managing a product roadmap and delivering customer value in B2B SaaS.
  • Track record of turning customer insights into roadmap decisions — deep empathy for enterprise customers, built through continuous engagement via calls, advisory sessions, and community participation.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver market and competitive analysis — identifying gaps in the market and translating insights into differentiated product positioning.
  • Strong experience with major cloud platforms, telemetry and observability data and interfaces, cloud-native architectures, and hyperscaler partner ecosystems.
  • Data-informed decision-making — proficiency in analytics to measure success, track adoption, and steer product development.
  • Solid strategic thinking — ability to define scope, prioritize effectively under constraints, and balance short- and long-term goals.
  • Leadership skills — ability to influence without direct authority, mentor others, set direction, and maintain alignment across teams.
  • Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, architects, designers, and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills — able to facilitate alignment across all levels of the organization.
