At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.​

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

We are seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager to lead our Web Hosting product strategy and execution. This is a critical role that will drive the vision, roadmap, and delivery of our hosting platform, serving enterprise and SMB customers globally. You will work with distributed teams across the US, Europe, and India to deliver world-class hosting solutions that power millions of websites and applications.

What you'll get to do...

  • Define and drive the product vision and multi-year strategy for our Web Hosting platform as you will be the SME for hosting infrastructure and web technologies.
  • Own the product roadmap, balancing customer needs, technical innovation, and business objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and competitive differentiation strategies.
  • Lead end-to-end product development from conception through launch and optimization.
  • Write comprehensive PRDs and specifications for complex technical initiatives.
  • Drive product launches including go-to-market strategy with marketing and sales teams.
  • Partner with UX/Design to create intuitive user experiences for technical products.
  • Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Support to understand customer needs.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.

Your experience should include...

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in senior/principal roles.
  • Proven track record in hosting, cloud infrastructure, or similar technical B2B products.
  • Experience managing products at scale (millions of users or high-volume platforms).
  • Demonstrated success working with globally distributed teams.
  • Deep understanding of web hosting technologies, DNS, CDN, and security.
  • Strong technical acumen with ability to engage in architectural discussions with engineers.
  • Excellence in data analysis and using metrics to drive product decisions.
  • Customer-obsessed mindset with experience in B2B and/or B2C environments.

You might also have...

  • Experience with WordPress, Web Hosting, cPanel/WHM, or similar hosting control panels 
  • Background in platform/API product management 
  • Experience in high-growth technology companies
