We partner closely with teams across Expedia Group to achieve growth and results for our customers and company.

Third-party inventory expands the breadth, depth, and competitiveness of our global accommodation marketplace. In this role, you will shape the end-to-end traveler experience for third-party inventory, ensuring it is trustworthy, consistent, and seamless across discovery, booking, payments, cancellations, modifications, and post-booking service.

In this role, you will:

  • Define the long-term experience vision, product principles, and strategic roadmap for third-party inventory.

  • Establish experience standards that promote traveler trust, consistency, quality, and customer lifetime value.

  • Influence strategy beyond your immediate team by aligning Product, Engineering, Supply, Partnerships, Commercial, Operations, Customer Service, Data Science, Design, and senior leadership.

  • Translate complex traveler and business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, success metrics, and decision frameworks.

  • Create clarity in complex, cross-functional decision spaces through concise narratives, data, and artifacts.

  • Use experimentation, analytics, and A/B testing to prioritize opportunities, evaluate impact, and guide trade-off decisions across platforms and customer journeys.

  • Identify risks, connect key stakeholders, and facilitate critical decisions across the organization.

  • Incorporate AI-driven systems, tools, and workflows where they create measurable business and traveler value, while supporting safe and responsible adoption.

  • Apply competitive and marketplace insights to shape differentiated product strategies and improve traveler outcomes.

Experience and Qualifications:

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in digital product management, including ownership of consumer-facing products, customer journeys, or e-commerce experiences.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, quantitative, or related field; or Equivalent related professional experience.

  • Experience defining and executing product strategy and roadmaps in complex, cross-functional environments, with accountability for KPIs and experimentation outcomes.

  • Experience partnering with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Analytics teams on technically complex products, including web application architecture, APIs, data flows, and experimentation platforms.

  • Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows, including applying AI/ML concepts to products in measurable, safe, and standards-aligned ways.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and peer teams on cross-organizational priorities and trade-offs.

Preferred

  • Experience owning complex consumer, marketplace, or platform products from strategy through execution and measurable outcomes.

  • Understanding of marketplaces, travel, e-commerce, payments, supply platforms, or other transaction ecosystems.

  • Experience working with third-party APIs, suppliers, partners, or distributed technology ecosystems.

  • Customer-centric product judgment and the ability to translate technical constraints into simple experiences.

  • Strong analytical and experimentation skills.

  • Experience influencing senior executives and multiple Product and Engineering organizations.

  • Ability to work effectively without direct authority in ambiguous, global, and matrixed environments.

  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
