Job Description:
The Global Process Lead – InterCompany role is accountable for establishing and driving the global strategy for the InterCompany processes with the goal of defining a global standardized process for ICB which will enable Mars to realise efficiencies, whilst ensuring accuracy and control. In this capacity, the InterCompany Process Lead owns and defines the enterprise-wide standards for the process, establish the KPIs for the process, and drive the transformational agenda globally to realise stated goals. This role is responsible for driving all process, technology & delivery model (captive, outsourcing, location) related decisions as it relates to the InterCompany cycle, ensuring that all key stakeholders & decision makers within MGSF and the Segments are appropriately engaged.
What are we looking for?
- 10 or more years of deep domain experience in InterCompany processes with global manufacturing companies required. Prior experience of being in role of a Global Process Owner / Global Process Lead is preferred
- Direct experience working for Shared Services environment and/or BPO service providers is required with global exposure and experience (to understand regional and country level nuances)
- Real time experience in SAP Finance modules will be preferred
- Previous experience of implementing SAP 4/Hana in a CPG environment preferred
- Prior experience in leading transformational program or enterprise wide change initiatives
- Proven leader with ability to influence C-suite team members
- Experience of working with global and remote teams
- Proficiency in English language
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Global ownership for defining strategy, designing processes and implementation of digital, re-engineering and innovation projects across InterCompany processes
- Analyse internal/external leading practices and benchmarks and develop transformation roadmap based on agreed KPI performance for the processes.
- Responsible to define the entire end to end business process and supporting technology in collaboration with wider MGSF, Controllership, DT and the Segments.
- Drives process standardization through enterprise design across geographies at Mars Inc level – deciding where customizations would be permitted and deliver through in-direct teams.
- Defines and maintains the process and control standards (PACS) documentation for InterCompany (ICB), including building process level controls based on Internal Controls Excellence (ICE) control guidance and any other additional controls (e.g. identification of automated controls).
- Identify, solution and deploy transformation projects to meet the desired objectives
- Decide on delivery model strategies for processes working with broader leadership teams on location, sourcing strategies (Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) versus captive)
- Design, define and deploy, in conjunction with the Project Management Team, a programme of work designed to meet these objectives
