With fresh funding from top-tier tech investors and leading hospitality brands, we're ready to embark on an exciting growth journey.

As a Product Designer at Kody, you'll be the voice for our merchants, their teams, customers, and our internal users, all while prioritising human-centered design. From conceptualisation to implementation, you’ll develop user-friendly solutions that smooth out any bumps and enhance the overall experience, guided by data and research.

Our tech team, made up of around 15 talented individuals, works remotely, primarily from the UK. You'll dive into daily standups with your squad, fostering discussions about your design choices to keep you engaged. Plus, you'll have the chance to collaborate with our quality assurance team to bring your creative vision to life.

  • Deliver the corresponding UI visual designs, transitions and animations to a ‘best-in-class’ standard.
  • Liaise with the engineering teams to support the development process, review builds and ensure the final product meets your design expectations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of design practice, process and tooling including the design system.
  • Build a relationship with our sales and customer success teams to ensure their product marketing needs are met relating to new releases that you’ve worked on.

You must have

  • 2+ years of experience in product or commercial UX/UI design.
  • Proficiency in Figma for creating high-fidelity designs and prototypes.
  • A human-centered design approach and a knack for research.
  • Strong communication skills to explain your design choices.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and seek help when needed.
  • Passion for design and a hunger for learning and growth.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience designing in Webflow.
  • Knowledge of payments or financial products.
  • Familiarity with design systems.
  • Experience conducting and synthesising user tests.
  • Skills in data analytics and accessibility practices.
  • Interest in emerging technologies.
  • Multilingual (we are launching products across Asia and Europe).

Kody package

  • Annual salary of £30-40k based on experience
  • Employee Share Ownership Plan (ESOP).
  • Employer contributions to your pension.
  • Remote-first and flexible working.
  • Annual learning and development allowance.
  • Home office “comfy-budget”.
  • 25 days of holiday plus additional leave for special occasions.
  • Enhanced parental leave.

Your application

We'd love to see your portfolio, so please include at least 2 case studies that highlight your contributions to the projects and the outcomes achieved. Along with that, a short cover letter explaining your interest in joining Kody and why you believe you’d be a great fit for this role.

If you move forward in the process, you’ll have a friendly 30-minute introductory call with Tom, our Head of Product Design, who you'll be collaborating with directly. Next, you'll tackle a brief design task and present your work to us. Lastly, we’ll have a conversation with some key stakeholders you'll be working alongside.

If for any reason you’re not selected at this stage, we will do our best to provide feedback upon request, although we may not be able to guarantee it due to the number of applications we receive.

Good luck! We can’t wait to meet you!
