Join Aico to lead the resident experience for a groundbreaking smart thermostat designed for social housing. You will own a genuine 0→1 product lifecycle, transitioning from discovery to market launch. Your work will directly combat fuel poverty and improve home safety for millions of residents across the UK using award-winning IoT technology.

What you will do:

  • Own the software roadmap and resident user experience for the new smart thermostat product line, balancing hardware constraints with intuitive digital interfaces.

  • Conduct deep user discovery with residents and landlords to translate complex regulatory and environmental needs into actionable product requirements and user stories.

  • Act as the Product Owner within a cross-functional scrum team, collaborating closely with engineering, design, and hardware specialists to ship high-quality features.

The ideal candidate:

  • 2–6 years of product management experience with a proven track record of shipping consumer-facing software products to non-technical or diverse user bases.

  • Expert-level proficiency in Agile methodologies, including writing detailed epics, managing backlogs in tools like Monday.com, and facilitating all scrum ceremonies.

  • Exceptional collaborative skills with the ability to bridge communication between technical engineering teams, executive stakeholders, and external housing providers.
