Location:  Commutable distance of Glory offices in either Knutsford (Booth Park) or Basingstoke.

ROLE PURPOSE

The Product Manager will drive the evolution of our banking and cash access solutions; the role sits at the intersection of customers, technology, operations, compliance, and sales.

You will be responsible for defining and managing the product roadmap, gathering and prioritising requirements, translating business needs into clear functional specifications, and ensuring that our products continue to deliver exceptional value to customers and partners.

As a key member of the Product & Technology team, you will work closely with the CTO, engineering teams, operations, compliance, customer-facing teams, and strategic partners. You will also play an active role in supporting commercial activities, helping to shape customer proposals, estimate delivery effort, and present solutions to prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
  • Own and maintain the product roadmap across the OneBanx product portfolio.
  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and priorities.
  • Balance customer needs, commercial objectives, regulatory requirements, and technical considerations when prioritising initiatives.
  • Identify market opportunities and emerging trends within banking, payments, cash management, and financial services.
  • Develop business cases and value propositions for new product capabilities.
 Product Management
  • Gather, document, validate, and prioritise product requirements from customers, internal stakeholders, and partners.
  • Own the product backlog and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Translate business requirements into clear solution definitions being pragmatic on the depth of detail required
  • Manage enhancement requests, product improvements, defects, and change requests.
  • Work closely with Engineering to define scope, acceptance criteria, and delivery priorities.
  • Participate in planning, product reviews, testing, and release activities.
  • Monitor product performance and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
 Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as a trusted product expert for customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Communicate product roadmaps, upcoming releases, and strategic direction to customers and stakeholders.
  • Lead product workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and demonstrations.
  • Build strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, strategic partners, and key customers.
  • Represent the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle.
Sales & Commercial Support
  • Partner with the Sales and Business Development teams to support opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
  • Contribute to RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and solution responses.
  • Produce functional requirements and solution documentation for prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to develop effort estimates and indicative delivery plans.
  • Participate in customer presentations, workshops, and product demonstrations.
  • Clearly articulate the business value and differentiators of the OneBanx solution.
  • Support go-to-market planning for new product launches and major enhancements.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Work closely with the CTO and engineering teams to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Risk, Customer Success, and Commercial teams.
  • Ensure products meet applicable regulatory, security, operational resilience, and compliance requirements.
  • Facilitate decision-making and alignment across multiple stakeholdersPrepare training materials for use by Glory Software Team and regional Connectivity Groups.
  • Supports other activities of the Global Professional Services Team as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Financial Technology or a related discipline.
  • Product Management certification (Pragmatic Institute, AIPMM, Product School, CSPO, SAFe, etc (desirable).
Essential Skills/Experience:
  • Proven Product Management experience within FinTech, Payments, Banking, Financial Services, SaaS, or related technology environments.
  • Experience owning and delivering product roadmaps in an agile/iterative delivery environment
  • Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder expectations at all levels.
  • Experience working closely with software engineering teams using Agile (or similar) methodologies.
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer-facing communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language.
  • Experience supporting sales teams through proposals, demonstrations, and solution presentations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong customer focus.
  • Naturally curious and driven to understand market needs.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to balance customer demands against long-term product strategy.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Collaborative and able to influence without direct authority.
  • Confident presenter capable of engaging customers, executives, and technical teams alike.
  • Passionate about building products that solve real-world financial challenges.
 Desirable:
  • Experience in payments, cash management, retail banking, banking infrastructure, ATM/self-service technology, open banking, or financial inclusion solutions.
  • Experience working with regulated financial institutions.
  • Knowledge of payment rails, cash operations, reconciliation processes, settlement, fraud prevention, AML/KYC, or banking integrations.
  • Experience with modern product management tools (e.g. Linear, Plane, Jira)
  • Experience preparing business cases, product performance metrics, and ROI assessments.
